We DO have the power to stand up for who we are. We are NOT door mats, we are NOT slaves, and we are NOT lower than anyone else. We deserve the right to live in safety and security. Hopefully through this site and the information it contains, those that are getting abused will get the strength to STAND UP and FIGHT BACK.

Hello Visitors to Heal Out Loud. My name is Lily and I am CO-founder of this wonderful group. My partner doesn't want to be named so, we shall call them Anon Y Mous. They are a great people, and for those of you that know who it is, please show respect and not point them out. Thank you!

As for me, I have been through abuse. More than my share by many standards. But luckily I was able to get out. I fought long and hard. It was a LOT of work, but I succeeded. I want to share my knowledge with everyone that is going through what I have, and I want to be there for them. ALL OF THEM.

I was asked what my reasons were. Why I wanted to take such a HUGE risk in creating something so mind-blowing, and so tragic. Well the answer to that is simple. Because IT HAS TO BE DONE!
Abuse happens all around us, every day, every MINUTE. It doesn't matter who it is, male or female, adult or child, straight or not. In our "world," more focus is placed on women being abused, not ALL that are being abused. Well I am here to make a STAND for ALL that are being abused. EVERYONE DESERVES TO LIVE IN SAFETY!

As you can tell, this subject is VERY close to my heart. As it should be to everyone. All I can say is that there is a war going on, but it is not being paid enough attention to.
